I'm Caitlin

I'm so glad you are here. If you are in the depths of planning your elopement I am so excited for you. I can't wait to learn all about what you’re dreaming up but first - you might be wanting to know a little about me and my offerings.

Let me tell you a few things about myself: I am a wild little heart. Lover of the outdoors, contemporary poetry, pottery, feelings and animals. I moved to the UK in 2014 and lived in Scotland 10 years. I returned home in November of 2024 and have been settling back into life in Australia since. My time in Scotland helped me build a foundation in my photography that understood how to work with and fall in love with landscapes, unexpected weather and lots of different lighting situations. I loved the unique challenges of the Scottish countryside and now I'm using that knowledge to get the most out of the beautiful Australian landscape too.

I am a mama to two beautiful children and they are everything. Motherhood has been the most magical experience of my life. I found that becoming a mum kind of exploded my heart open and man, oh man, do I make good use of this now softer heart in my work. I laugh with my couples, I cry with them, I share their day and their joy. It makes me better at my job. It has made me more able to know what matters and how it felt. It seems personal because it is! A wedding day is personal. It's intimate and vulnerable and joyful. I must be on the ride for all of it or I can't tell the story accurately.

I've had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember. I have always been obsessed with capturing memories in meaningful ways. In ways that create feeling, longing, experience. My question has always been how do I get a window back to this time? - and for me, photography is the answer.

This means when I work with you I am focused on capturing your day with a knowledge and sensitivity for who you are and what your relationship is.  My priority is to tell your story authentically and beautifully.
